Why did you join this class?
I joined this class to gain knowledge and information about film. I also joined because I have heard many interesting things about this class.
What do you hope to gain from taking this class?
I hope to gain experience and learn more about film making.
What do you know about cinematography?
My knowledge of cinematography is limited to using iMovie a couple of times in middle school.
What do you want to know about cinematography?
I would like how to use different cameras and learn how to edit.
What type of films would you like to make?
I am not sure what type of films I would like to make. I think maybe I would like to make some comedy films.

Elf is probably my all time favorite movie. I love its humor and sarcastic take on life. I can watch this classic Christmas movie at any time of the year. This is a movie that is appropriate for all ages and everyone can enjoy it. How can you not fall in love with elf!
Freaky Friday was probably the only movie that me and my siblings could agree on to watch. It is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Even my mom would recommend watching the movie. This movies concept it something we have all (or maybe its just me) thought about "what if you could switch bodies?" It gets me to think about what would happen if I had to switch bodies with my mom. Overall, this movie is one that I would definitely recommend.
This movie I watched about five years ago with my dad and over break recently rediscovered it. I like this movie because you really do not know what is going to happen. It is suspenseful and makes me wish I was smarter so that I could out smart a bunch of detectives. You watch the protagonist go through a series of hard decisions about the smartest way to prove his innocence -- while on the run from the police.
What is your favorite movie genre?
My favorite movie genre is probably comedy.
What motivates you to work hard?
What motivates me to work hard is when people are counting on me and deadlines. Sometimes I procrastinate so when there is a deadline it forces me to do work.
What are five concerns that you have now in your life?
I am always concerned with my school work. I also, of course, worry about the college process and what I am going to do with my life. I have concerns about making sure I don't disappoint my family or friends. Lastly, I am concerned about the safety of our country because of the impending nuclear war.
What was your favorite subject in school? Why?
My favorite subject is math because I like finding answers to problems. I like when problems have a definite answer. I also like how math is very organized.
What are the three words that best describe you?
Three words that describe me would be hardworking, dedicated, and indecisive.
Biggest Character turn-off for you?
My biggest character turn-off is when people dismiss your point automatically.
